My Hero Academia has set a benchmark for any shounen Anime to air from last 2 years. It started serializing as manga from July 2014 and 19 volumes has been completed since then. Anime version of it started airing from 2016 and 3rd season of it still airing at the moment. But getting a full length movie in the same year is sure hyping entire anime community.

Just a brief Fyi…The entire anime follows a boy named Izuku Midoriya who has born without any powers in super power based society. He grew up admiring All might, greatest superhero, world has ever seen. He wanted to be just like him but due to lack of power was always criticized by fellow class mates. He gets scouted by all might eventually and enrolls in a school for professional heroes. From here on wards his extraordinary journey begins to be great superhero just like his Mentor All might.

As far the story of the movie goes, “After the end of the climatic Final Exams, the U.A. Class members head off to their school field trip for Summer break. However, before they head off to the school field trip, All Might and Deku accept an invitation from someone to go abroad to a floating and mobile manmade city, called ‘I Island.’ All researchers in the world, from both East and West, are gathered in this place, known as the Hollywood of Science, where they research quirks as well as hero supplemental items at the special ‘I Expo’ convention that is currently being held on the island.

This is where Deku meets the quirkless girl, Melissa. Melissa also is like him, quirkless. Deku is able to connect with Melissa by recalling when he too was quirkless. During that time, suddenly, despite an iron wall of security surrounding the island, the system is breached by a villain who hacked into it! The people living on the island are all taken hostage! Now, the Hero Association needs to act quickly to deploy their unshakeable ‘Plan’ or else―! The only person who can grasp that key, is none other than the Number One Hero, All Might!”

Movie has already been showcased in Anime Expo 2018 and has received huge positive response from fan. It’s set to release officially in Japan on 3rd August and in United states and Canada on September 25th.

Movie will have five day Special screening on September 25,26,27,29, and October 2 in United States.

It’s been my favorite since season 1 came out and we have almost 3 season at the moment I’m writing this feed. It never had a dull moment and slow pacing in the entire series from season 1 to 3. Getting a movie while the current season is still ongoing is really something hard for any studio but Studio bones did it. I really appreciate their efforts and it’s much of a dessert for any Boku No Hero Academia fan.
