“The iPhone could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (14).

You might have received this iTunes error 14 message while trying to restore or upgrade your iOS device using iTunes. iTunes error 14 and bugs can be annoying. However, they’re really not such a big deal. In fact, if you read this article there are different methods which can fix iTunes error 14.

Method 1. Fix itunes error 14 by checking the usb cable and usb port

A damaged or faulty usb also cause the problem of itunes error 9. So try restoring iphone with original or aunthenticated APPLE USb CABLE and also check the use port computer or laptop and also try restoring decice with another computer or laptop.

Method 2. Fix itunes error 14 by deleting the current ipsw file

Sometime itunes also shows error 14 when any part of ipsw file corrupted , so try to delete the current ipsw file of itunes .To get access of downloaded loction of ipsw file follow this:-

After accessing the file just delete that file and again connect your device to itune or dfu mode in your pc or laptop and just try to restore again.
